Several available models

With prices that vary between $ 37,557 and $ 54,557, we can say the Kia EV6 is an affordable electric SUV.  Several models are offered:

• SR (Standard Range): $ 37,557 
• LR (Long Range): $ 45,557 
• LR AWD: $ 47,557 
• LR AWD with GT-Line I: $ 50,557 
• LR AWD with GT-Line II: $ 54,557 

On top of being offered in different versions, this Kia SUV also comes with several choices of engine performance, depending on selected model. 

Outstanding power

Depending on selected model, the permanent magnet synchronous motor in this electric Kia will offer:

• SR: 167 horsepower
• LR: 225 horsepower
• LR AWD: 320 horsepower
• LR AWD with GT-Line (I and II): 320 horsepower

Moreover, a GT version should be launched later in 2022 and should offer a combined power of 577 horsepower.  To be continued…

Range

While the entry-level version offers a very respectable range of 373 kilometers, when it comes to Extended Range models, they offer an exceptional range that varies between 441 and 499 kilometers, which is much more than several competitors currently offer.  

Charging times 

If you have access to a level 2 (240 V) charging station at home, at work or even in several commercial parking lots, you will need approximately between 6 and 7 hours to reach full charge on your vehicle.

However, on an 800V (350kW) quick charging station, you can recover one hundred or so kilometers in just 5 minutes, and 80% of full range in only 18 minutes and this, no matter the model you choose. 

Moreover, this electric Kia SUV can also be used as a generator for several electric or electronic devices, which is extremely practical, like when going camping, for example. 

Technical features 

The EV6 positions itself between the Kia Sportage and the Kia Sorento.  However, it has a longer wheelbase of 2,900 mm, like the Telluride, which means interior space will be just as generous.

When it comes to cargo space, the EV6 offers between 690 and 1,322 liters, depending on if rear seats are folded down or not. 

Finally, all versions offer a towing capacity that reaches up to a maximum of 2,300 pounds, which is superior to many available models on the market.
